One of the most renowned pieces traditionally performed

during the New Year in Japan is Spring Sea by Michio Miyagi.

I have drawn upon just the opening phrase of Spring Sea

as a source of inspiration for my creative work. 

As a Japanese individual living amidst the complexities of

an increasingly globalized world,

I combined this motif with my bursting energy.

 

 

日本において、お正月に流れる最も有名な曲の一つは

宮城道雄作の"春の海"であろう。

その"春の海"の冒頭のワンフレーズのみを切り取り、

表現の素材として拝借。

グローバル化した混沌とする現代を生きる日本人の一人として、

私自身の湧き出すエネルギーの中で結合させた。
